About Me as a Clinical Supervisor

As a bilingual, bicultural, and first-generation Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I bring over a decade of experience in mental health settings—ranging from schools to community-based programs to private practice. I have had the honor of supervising Master-level students (MSW interns) and Associate Clinical Social Workers (ACSWs) across various stages of their journey.
My approach to supervision is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in liberation psychology. I center cultural humility, intersectionality, and the unique narratives each clinician-in-training brings to the room. Together, we explore case conceptualization, clinical skills, ethical dilemmas, and the deep impact of identity, systemic oppression, and generational trauma on our work and our clients.
